Very few things make Philadelphia Eagles fans happier and feeling better about the team than a win over the Dallas Cowboys. It’s no surprise, then, that the Eagles’ fan confidence rating jumped up by 28% this week.
The Eagles’ 65% confidence rating — as determined by the latest FanPulse polling — is tied for the 12th highest mark in the NFL. It’s the most confident Eagles fans have been feeling since they were back at 89% following back-to-back wins over the Green Bay Packers and New York Jets. That was all the way back in early October ... nearly three months ago now.
The Eagles’ win didn’t just boost confidence in Philly; it also absolutely crushed Cowboys fans. Dallas ranks tied for dead last (with the Jacksonville Jaguars) this week at a measly 1%. You hate to see it! Kind of funny though since the Cowboys could still make the playoffs if they win and the Eagles lose in Week 17.
Speaking of this week’s game, New York Giants fans aren’t so down in the dumps after two straight wins. The Giants’ 34% confidence rating ranks tied for 18th and it’s their highest mark since Week 10. Giants fans are feeling better because core pieces like Daniel Jones and Saquon Barkley are playing well. The pressure is on the Eagles to end New York’s season on a sour note.
This week’s national FanPulse question asked which teams fans want to see in the Super Bowl LIV. The Eagles and Cowboys shared an answer option since they’re both alive in the NFC East:

Hey, look! Not last! That honor barely goes to the Packers instead.
The Baltimore Ravens are the obvious answers in the AFC:
