Andrew Sendejo has been claimed off waivers by the Minnesota Vikings one day after being waived by the Philadelphia Eagles, according to a report from NFL insider Tom Pelissero.

Sendejo previously spent eight seasons with the Vikings before signing with the Eagles earlier this offseason so it doesn’t come as a shock his former team wanted him back.

The Eagles cut Sendejo on Tuesday in part to prevent themselves from losing a projected fourth-round compensatory in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Sendejo played against the Vikings when the Eagles visited Minnesota earlier this season. Sendejo will now have a chance to play against the Eagles should these two teams somehow meet in the playoffs. Maybe Jordan Howard will even run him over en route to a touchdown, as LeGarrette Blount once did in the 2018 NFC Championship Game (38 to 7).

In other former Eagles news, the Arizona Cardinals waived veteran linebacker Zach Brown not even one week after signing him.
