Before the thirteenth Sunday of the 2019 NFL regular season kicks off, let’s have some fun by taking a look at the spreads for the Week 13 games. You can CLICK HERE for straight up NFL picks without regard to the spread. You can find all of the NFL betting lines via DraftKings SportsBook.
My overall record so far is 87-87-5 after going 6-8 last week and 1-2 on this week’s Thanksgiving games. I’m still doing better than the collective BGN community, which is 80-94-5 so far.
NFL WEEK 13 GAMES
SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS at BALTIMORE RAVENS (-5.5): The 49ers’ second-ranked DVOA defense is good, yeah, but who wants to bet against Lamar Jackson right now? Hard to love the 49ers as the West Coast team making a 1:00 PM start on the East Coast. PICK: Ravens -5.5

GREEN BAY PACKERS (-6.5) at NEW YORK GIANTS: The Packers have some fraud vibes to them; they’re only 10th in DVOA and 12th in point differential. And yet the Giants’ 29th-ranked defense holding up against Aaron Rodgers isn’t a bet to love. PICK: Packers -6.5

PHILADELPHIA EAGLES (-10) at MIAMI DOLPHINS: The Dolphins were looking competitive for a bit there before proceeding to get blown out in their last two games. The Eagles’ offense has struggled so much that it’s hard to feel great about Philly covering. But Miami’s defense might be terrible enough for the Birds to actually put up points in this game. The return of Alshon Jeffery and Nelson Agholor should actually help Carson Wentz, maybe? And there should be a ton of Eagles fans in South Beach to make this feel like a home game on the road. PICK: Eagles -10

CLEVELAND BROWNS (-3) at PITTSBURGH STEELERS: The Browns tend to burn their believers but, heck, they rank better in DVOA than a Steelers team starting an undrafted rookie free agent at quarterback. I await disappointment. PICK: Browns -3
Poll
Which bet do you like more?
NEW YORK JETS (-3) at CINCINNATI BENGALS: The Jets are riding a three-game win streak. They’ve only beaten bad teams, sure, but the Bengals are just another one of those. PICK: Jets -3
Poll
Which bet do you like more?
WASHINGTON at CAROLINA PANTHERS (-10): The Panthers have been fighting hard for Ron Rivera. I like their chances as they try to keep their slim playoff hopes alive. I also really don’t like counting on Dwayne Haskins, who has struggled thus far. PICK: Panthers -10

TENNESSEE TITANS at INDIANAPOLIS COLTS (-1): The Titans are 4-1 since Ryan Tannehill took over for Marcus Mariota. Tannehill’s posted a 111.4 passer rating through those five games. I guess I’ll roll with him. PICK: Titans +1
Poll
Which bet do you like more?
TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS (-3) at JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS: Shouldn’t you know better than to bet against BDN as an underdog? Would you really rather take Jameis Winston, who has 24 combined interceptions and fumbles in his last six starts? PICK: Jaguars +3
Poll
Which bet do you like more?
LOS ANGELES RAMS (-3) at ARIZONA CARDINALS: The Cards have a significant rest advantage here since they’re coming off their bye while the Rams are coming off Monday Night Football. I also think I’d rather ride with the Kyler Murray and Kliff Kingsbury duo than the Jared Goff and Sean McVay combo. PICK: Cardinals +3
Poll
Which bet do you like more?
OAKLAND RAIDERS at KANSAS CITY CHIEFS (-11): It was looking like the Raiders may have turned a corner. Then they got blown out by NYJ. Now they’ll face Andy Reid coming off a bye, which isn’t a good situation for them to be in. PICK: Chiefs -11
Poll
Which bet do you like more?
LOS ANGELES CHARGERS (-3.5) at DENVER BRONCOS: Drew Lock is making his first career NFL start. He hasn’t had much practice time since he’s been on injured reserve with an injured thumb for most of the year. Hard to know what to make of him. Philip Rivers coming off a bye week seems more reliable. PICK: Chargers -3.5
Poll
Which bet do you like more?
NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS (-3) at HOUSTON TEXANS: The Pats’ defense is hard to bet against right now. Especially when they’re going up against a Texans offensive line that ranks 25th in adjusted sack rate.

MINNESOTA VIKINGS at SEATTLE SEAHAWKS (-3): Kirk Cousins is 0-7 on Monday Night Football in his career. So, he’s due! Or not. How could you really count on him to come up bigger than Russell Wilson in this spot? PICK: Seahawks -3
