Eagles Injury Report: Zach Ertz misses practice for second day in a row

Philly might be without their leading receiver in Miami.

The Philadelphia Eagles issued their second official injury report on Thursday in advance of their Week 13 game against the Miami Dolphins. Note that this report is an estimation since the team did not hold a normal practice due to Thanksgiving.

The Eagles’ Thursday injury report is virtually identical to Wednesday’s version; the only difference is that Vinny Curry was upgraded to full go after missing yesterday due to non-injury related reasons.

Zach Ertz was listed as “did not participate” for the second day in a row. That’s not good. It’s not common for Eagles players to miss two straight practices and then play on Sunday. Ertz is the team’s leading receiver and basically the only reliable skill player Carson Wentz has to work with right now.

Jordan Howard, Nelson Agholor, Alshon Jeffery, and Jason Peters were listed as limited for the second practice in a row. The sense here is that Howard will be out again while at least one of Agholor or Jeffery should play. Peters should be ready to start at left tackle.

Carson Wentz, Lane Johnson, and Brandon Brooks are all on track to start this weekend.

We’ll learn more abut the team’s injury situation when they put out their third and final injury report on Friday afternoon.
