Happy Thanksgiving, Bleeding Green Nation!

Today’s Turkey Day schedule kicks off with an NFC North matchup between the Detroit Lions (3-7-1) and the Chicago Bears (5-6). It’s an epic battle between ... David Blough (who?) and Mitchell Trubisky. Yikes. Certainly not the best appetizer you’ll have today.

As far as Philadelphia Eagles fan rooting interest goes, this game doesn’t matter a ton. The Bears losing would be good for the Eagles’ very slim wild card chances. On the flip side, the Lions losing could help Detroit get ahead of New York and/or Washington in the 2020 NFL Draft order.
