Almost halfway through the second quarter against the Patriots, Eagles right tackle Lane Johnson was carted off the field to be evaluated for a head injury. Initially, the Eagles said Johnson was questionable to return, but was quickly ruled out, as reported by Jeff McLane.

The Eagles were up 10-3 when Johnson left the field, but it wasn’t immediately clear on which play he got injured. On the next offensive drive, Patriots’ head coach Bill Belichick made some quick adjustments, and Carson Wentz was sacked for the first time Sunday afternoon.
The Eagles have backup offensive lineman Halapoulivaati Vaitai — and not 2019 first-round pick Andre Dillard — in for Johnson at right tackle.
