Before the tenth Sunday of the 2019 NFL regular season kicks off, let’s have some fun by taking a look at the spreads for the Week 10 games. You can CLICK HERE for straight up NFL picks without regard to the spread. You can find all of the NFL betting lines via DraftKings SportsBook.
My overall record so far is 67-65-4 after going 9-5 last week and correctly predicting this week’s TNF game. I’m still doing better than the collective BGN community, which is 62-70-4 so far.
NFL WEEK 10 GAMES
BUFFALO BILLS at CLEVELAND BROWNS (-3): It’s actually not that crazy that the 6-2 Bills are underdogs to the 2-6 Browns. Buffalo ranks one spot behind Cleveland in DVOA. The Bills have had a much easier schedule than the Browns to this point. I think Cleveland finds a way to bounce back after hitting rock bottom last weekend. And this is coming from someone who was never even a big Browns believer. PICK: Browns -3

NEW YORK GIANTS (-3) at NEW YORK JETS: The Giants are playing on a short week but they also didn’t have to travel at all. The G-Men have looked more competent than the other New Jersey team this season. PICK: Giants -3

BALTIMORE RAVENS (-10.5) at CINCINNATI BENGALS: The Bengals only lost by six points in Baltimore last month. Could they find a way to cover at home? Not easy to count on it with the Bengals having Ryan Finley make his first start. There’s blowout potential here should the rookie fourth-round pick struggle. PICK: Ravens -10.5

ATLANTA FALCONS at NEW ORLEANS SAINTS (-13.5): The Saints’ offense should have no problem shredding the 30th ranked Falcons defense. PICK: Saints -13.5

KANSAS CITY CHIEFS (-6) at TENNESSEE TITANS: Patrick Mahomes’ return to the starting lineup will mark a convincing win for the Chiefs. PICK: Chiefs -6
Poll
Which bet do you like more?
DETROIT LIONS at CHICAGO BEARS (-6.5): The Lions will be without Matthew Stafford for the first time since 2010 as they start Jeff Driskel under center instead. It could get ugly with Detroit’s backup going up against the Bears’ defense but it’s not like Mitchell Trubisky is that much more inspiring. I’ll take the points since this could be an ugly game. PICK: Lions +6.5
Poll
Which bet do you like more?
ARIZONA CARDINALS at TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS (-5): Not adhering to my rule of betting against Jameis Winston has burned me in the past. The Kyler Murray and Kliff Kingsbury combination should be able to score on a Bucs defense that’s allowing the second most points per game (31.5) this season. PICK: Cardinals +5

MIAMI DOLPHINS at INDIANAPOLIS COLTS (-17): The Dolphins have looked competent in their last four games, even winning one. Miami should be able to keep this game within two possessions with third string quarterback Brian Hoyer starting for Indy. PICK: Dolphins +17
Poll
Which bet do you like more?
LOS ANGELES RAMS (-4) at PITTSBURGH STEELERS: Mike Tomlin has his Steelers playing hard but color me a Mason Rudolph skeptic. Pittsburgh’s starting quarterback has an 84.4 passer rating in his last two starts. This is a DVOA mismatch with the Rams ranking 11th and the Steelers ranking 21st. The Steelers will probably end up losing this game by three but I can’t make my pick based on that slim margin of error. PICK: Rams -4
Poll
Which bet do you like more?
CAROLINA PANTHERS at GREEN BAY PACKERS (-4.5): Remember what happened when Kyle Allen went to San Francisco a couple weeks ago? Yeah, it wasn’t pretty. The Panthers should struggle on the road against a good team once again. The Packers are poised to bounce back after a trap game loss last weekend. PICK: Packers -4.5
Poll
Which bet do you like more?
MINNESOTA VIKINGS at DALLAS COWBOYS: Kirk Cousins is something like 0-999 in prime-time games. He doesn’t come up big in big spots. It’s impossible to count on him reversing the narrative here, especially without Adam Thielen to work with. Zero chance the Cowboys lose this game; they’ll win comfortably. PICK: Cowboys -6
Poll
Which bet do you like more?
SEATTLE SEAHAWKS at SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS: Dang. The 49ers obviously look really good but 6.5 point favorites over the team with the NFL’s leading MVP candidate? Russell Wilson should at least be able to make this one close. There’s considerable upset potential in this division game. Take the points. PICK: Seahawks +6.5
