The Philadelphia Eagles are back at Lincoln Financial Field this weekend for their first home game since October 6. The Birds won’t be wearing their standard midnight green, however. The team announced they’ll be going with their all-black alternate uniforms against the Chicago Bears.

Now you know to dress accordingly for the blackout.
The Eagles went 1-1 in two games in their black alternates last year. The first game was a 27 to 20 loss to the Dallas Cowboys while the second was a 25 to 22 win over the New York Giants.
NFL teams can wear their alternates up to three times per season but the Eagles have typically only used them twice per year. That means one of the following home games will also likely feature the all-black setup:
Week 11 - New England Patriots
Week 12 - Seattle Seahawks
Week 14 - New York Giants
Week 16 - Dallas Cowboys
As of last year, BGN’s polling indicated that the black jerseys are still pretty popular among Eagles fans.

Of course, they’re clearly not as good as the Kelly Green theme that the Eagles are said to be working on bringing back in the near future. Earlier this year, Jeffrey Lurie said he’s “hopeful” the team can wear Kelly Green as soon as the 2020 season.
