The Eagles (4-4) have just one game between them and the bye week, and they will play host in Week 9 of the 2019 NFL season to the Chicago Bears (3-4). You can still buy tickets to Eagles vs. Bears from StubHub HERE.
This contest might serve as a bit of a revenge game for Matt Nagy and the Bears, who most recently lost to the Eagles in last year’s postseason courtesy of the Double Doink. Sure, it wasn’t Cody Parkey’s fault he missed the game-winning field goal — that credit goes to former Eagles Treyvon Hester for getting a hand on it — but that didn’t keep the Bears from trying to replace him in the offseason.
Despite both team having mediocre records heading into the second half of the season, the Eagles are still just one game away from the top of the NFC East. The Bears, however, sit at the bottom of the NFC North, behind the Packers (7-1), Vikings (6-2), and even the Lions (3-3-1).
There’s a lot of familiarity between the Eagles and Bears, aside from competing back in January. Philadelphia OC Mike Groh, new lead rusher, Jordan Howard, and wideout Alshon Jeffery all came from Chicago. Similarly, head coach Matt Nagy, tight end Trey Burton and backup QB Chase Daniel, all are recent Eagles personnel.
Here’s everything you need to know about how to watch the game.
