The New York Jets are looking for their first win of the 2019 regular season when they head to The Linc on Sunday for the Week 5 matchup against the Eagles. Fresh off a big Thursday night win over the Packers, Doug Pederson and the Eagles are looking to build on their 202 season.

These two teams last faced off during the regular season back in 2015, and the Eagles won on the road 24-17. The last time the Jets played the Eagles in The Linc was in 2011, when Philly won in a 45-19 blowout.

There is a lot of familiarity between these two teams and, particularly, the personnel. Not only did they play each other in the preseason — in a game that ended early due to weather — but Eagles’ No. 2 quarterback Josh McCown formerly played for the Jets in 2017 and 2018, and Philly’s new Defensive Special Assistant, Matt Burke, was the Defensive Coordinator under Adam Gase in Miami the past two seasons.

On the other side, Howie Roseman’s former right-hand man Joe Douglas was hired as the Jets new General Manager this past offseason, and former Eagles running back Josh Adams is now on New York’s practice squad.

The Eagles will be facing the Jets No. 2 quarterback Luke Falk instead of Sam Darnold, with the starter still recovering from mono and not yet cleared for contact. New York still has a strong running game with LeVeon Bell, and a defense that could certainly make things challenging for the Eagles offense — depending on whether the offense from Week 4 shows up, or from Weeks 2 and 3.

Here’s everything you need to know about how to watch the game.
