Eagles Injury Report: Miles Sanders returns to practice

News and updates.

NFL: Philadelphia Eagles at Buffalo Bills Rich Barnes-USA TODAY Sports

The Philadelphia Eagles issued their second official injury report on Thursday in advance of their Week 9 game against the Chicago Bears.

The big news is that Miles Sanders returned to practice as a full participant. He’s on track to play this weekend despite hurting his shoulder in Week 8. Avonte Maddox and Josh Sweat are also on track to play after being full go for the second day in a row.

DeSean Jackson was one of the limited participants for the second straight day. Jackson declined to talk to reporters so we still haven’t heard directly from him. If reports are to be believed, he could play this weekend. Timmy Jernigan and Darren Sproles might also be able to suit up after being limited again. Andrew Sendejo is a new addition to the injury report. It’s worth noting this could be his last game with the Eagles since the team can preserve a 2020 fourth-round compensatory pick by cutting him before Saturday, November 9.

Nigel Bradham and Jason Peters did not practice once again. They’re both set to miss this weekend’s game. Brandon Brooks sat out today due to illness but he should be good for Sunday.

We’ll learn more abut the team’s injury situation when they put out their third and final injury report tomorrow afternoon.
