The Philadelphia Eagles issued their second official injury report on Thursday in advance of their Week 8 game against the Buffalo Bills.
Six players did not participate in Wednesday’s practice: DeSean Jackson, Jason Peters, Nigel Bradham, Avonte Maddox, Timmy Jernigan, and Darren Sproles. All six players are set to miss this weekend’s game.
Jernigan and Sproles were seen doing some stretching so perhaps they’ll be back within a few weeks. Maddox was able to watch practice from the sideline for the first time since he got hurt, seems like a step in the right direction.
Lane Johnson returned to practice as a full participant after missing Wednesday’s session due to illness.
We’ll learn more abut the team’s injury situation when they put out their third and final injury report tomorrow afternoon.
