It was previously looking like the Dallas Cowboys might be without a number of key starters for a critical Week 7 NFC East matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles but it now appears that’ll no longer be the case. Here’s the latest from NFL insider Adam Schefter:
Five Cowboys listed as questionable – Amari Cooper (thigh), Randall Cobb (back), Tyron Smith (ankle), La’el Collins (knee), Byron Jones (hamstring) – all are expected to play tonight against the Eagles, per sources.

This report doesn’t come as a shock because the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported on Friday that these players were likely to be available. Schefter’s reporting just confirms as much.
Still, not a good development for the Eagles. Amari Cooper being active is especially worrisome considering how he logged 16 receptions for 292 yards and three touchdowns against the Eagles last season. Dak Prescott should only have more time in the pocket to throw to Cooper with starting offensive tackles Tyron Smith and La’el Collins returning.
It remains to be seen if these players will be able to last through the game. Cooper only made it three snaps into last week’s matchup before having to come out. It seems like these Cowboys players are really trying to tough it out since it’s such an important tilt. They could very well be playing at less than 100%, especially considering how limited they were in practice this week.
The Eagles have their work cut out for them on Sunday Night Football. They need to find a way to win.
