The seventh Sunday of the 2019 NFL season is upon us. Here’s a Philadelphia Eagles focused rooting guide for all of the games.
EAGLES GAME
PHILADELPHIA EAGLES at DALLAS COWBOYS: Huuuuuuge game for the Eagles. Gotta win. Beat Dallas.
Whether the criticisms are accurate or not, Wentz dominating on Sunday would go a long way in shutting down the anonymous chirpers & put the Eagles in great position.

NFC EAST
ARIZONA CARDINALS at NEW YORK GIANTS: The Giants are currently only one game out of the NFC East lead. They’re not dead yet. It’d be nice to see Arizona help kill them off. Don’t want to see Daniel Jones outplaying Kyler Murray. Root for the Cardinals.
SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS at WASHINGTON: The only thing winning does for Washington is screw up their draft positioning. Plus, wouldn’t mind seeing the 49ers suffer their first loss of the season in this spot. Root against the 49ers.
NFC TEAMS
MINNESOTA VIKINGS at DETROIT LIONS: The Eagles would rather see the Lions in the playoffs than the Vikings. Root for the Lions.
OAKLAND RAIDERS at GREEN BAY PACKERS: Easy call to root for the AFC team over the NFC team. Root for the Raiders.
LOS ANGELES RAMS at ATLANTA FALCONS: The 3-3 Rams are a bigger threat than the 1-5 Falcons in the NFC playoff picture. The consolation prize with a Los Angeles victory is that every Falcons loss makes the sixth-round pick Atlanta owes to the Eagles even better. Root for the Falcons.
NEW ORLEANS SAINTS at CHICAGO BEARS: If the Eagles are going to make a run for a first-round bye, they’ll need some of the teams ahead of them to drop some games. The 5-1 Saints are the bigger threat than the 3-2 Bears. Root for the Bears.
BALTIMORE RAVENS at SEATTLE SEAHAWKS: Easy call to root for the AFC team over the NFC team. Root for the Ravens.
DRAFT PICK WATCH
NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS at NEW YORK JETS: The Eagles own the Patriots’ 2020 fifth-round pick due to the Michael Bennett trade. It’s very likely going to be a late fifth but it’s always easy to cheer for the Pats to lose anyway. Root for the Jets.
WHAT’S LEFT
MIAMI DOLPHINS at BUFFALO BILLS: Preferable to see the Dolphins keep that No. 1 overall pick as opposed to Washington getting in the mix for it. Root for the Bills.
JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS at CINCINNATI BENGALS: Root for the currently winless Bengals to be one of the teams with a better pick than Washington. Root for the Jaguars.
HOUSTON TEXANS at INDIANAPOLIS COLTS: Hoping to see Frank Reich do well in this big AFC South battle. Root for the Colts.
LOS ANGELES CHARGERS at TENNESSEE TITANS: Both teams could be looking to take a quarterback early in the 2020 NFL Draft with Philip Rivers and Marcus Mariota both on the last years of their deals. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
