In an ugly road loss to the Minnesota Vikings, the Philadelphia Eagles’ road to the playoffs just got some doubt cast over it as they move to 3-3 on the season. The 38-20 loss was just game one of a three game road stretch that includes a showdown with the Dallas Cowboys next week.
The good news is that Week 7 game will still decide the division leader. The bad news is the brand of football that the Eagles have played this year is not conducive to future success. We had a lot to talk about on BGN Radio #85 where I was joined by Brandon Lee Gowton to talk about the loss to the Vikings. Major topics include:
- Failing the Kirk Cousins litmus test
- Coaching staff brain drain impacting the offense
- Skill position players that need to step up
- Howie Roseman’s draft picks, good or nah?
- Sidney Jones needs to toughen up and play better
- Jim Schwartz needs to put his players in a position to succeed
- Zach Brown needs to be quiet
We talk about all that and more on BGN Radio #85! Listen on the media player below or click here if the player doesn’t load. New to podcasts?! Check out our guide on how to listen to BGN! FLY EAGLES FLY!
