So, we meet again...
Both the Philadelphia Eagles and Minnesota Vikings are 3-2 heading into their Week 6 matchup at U.S. Bank Stadium.
Doug Pederson spoke a lot this week about offensive improvements that need to be made after a struggle against the Jets, but the team’s defense was record-setting in last Sunday’s game — becoming the first team with 10 sacks and 2 defensive TDs in a single game in NFL history. They’ll need to continue to dominate against Kirk Cousins and a run-heavy offense that found success in the passing game last week, as well.
These teams last faced off a year ago, when the Vikings — looking for revenge from the 2017 NFC Championship Game — went into The Linc and bested the Eagles 23-21. The last time they met during the regular season in Minnesota was back in 2013, with the Vikings winning 48-30.
Aside from the familiarity these teams have over the past couple of seasons, the Eagles also signed safety Andrew Sendejo this offseason who was a bit of a scorned free agent after spending 8 years with the Vikings. He primarily filled a special teams role with the team, but was a defensive starter for 3 seasons in Minnesota.
Here’s everything you need to know about how to watch the game.
