Film review of the Eagles’ win over the Bears

There’s two things we know to be true in this world.

1. The coaching staff of the defending Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles have been furiously grinding the film since their 16-15 Wild Card win over the Chicago Bears.
2. The Kist & Solak Show has been grinding said film into dust.

In our weekly coaches film review show, Benjamin Solak and I dig into all the details about the how and why regarding the Eagles’ upset win. What we saw were stand-out performances from Lane Johnson, Dallas Goedert, Michael Bennett, Nigel Bradham, Rasul Douglas and a host of others.

Plus, we had to talk about some beauties thrown by Nick Foles. It wasn’t a perfect game for Foles, but he made some incredibly tough throws under duress and came through with what would end up as the game-winning drive. For instance, this throw on 3rd & 10 that looks to change trajectory is rumored to have been touched by the invisible fingers of Treyvon Hester.

We also handed out game balls for our two key performances along with a plethora of other play and performance breakdowns. Did Khalil Mack actually get shut down to the degree that it’s being portrayed by the media? Does Pro Football Focus having Tre Sullivan as their highest graded Eagles’ player make any sense?
