The Philadelphia Eagles’ 16-15 win over the Chicago Bears in the Wild Card round of the 2019 NFL Playoffs drew HUGE television ratings. In fact, it was the most watched TV show since ... the Eagles’ last playoff game.
NBC says the Eagles-Bears Wild Card game drew a Total Audience Delivery of 36.4 million viewers across television and digital. That is television’s most-watched show since Super Bowl LII on NBC (Feb. 4, 2018). The game peaked at 45.1 million viewers from 7:45-7:54 p.m. ET.

45.1 million viewers. Crazy.
It makes sense, though. The Eagles are must-watch football right now. They’re such a fun team that finds a way to win despite the odds being against them ... for the second year in a row. And the stage is never too big for them.
A great thing about these huge ratings is that the Eagles’ undeniable greatness is on display for everyone to see. Whether that’s Eagles fans rejoicing in their favorite team’s success ... or the haters and losers (see: bitter Vikings fans) rooting against them.
One can only imagine the Eagles will continue to draw huge ratings if they keep on winning. And the millions of people watching should have reason to believe it’s almost impossible to count this team out.
