The Chicago Bears drove into field goal range for a 43-yard field goal attempt with 10 seconds remaining in a one-point game. The Bears make that kick and the Philadelphia Eagles are eliminated from the 2019 NFL Playoffs despite the fact Nick Foles left the field with the lead. It was the Eagles’ January 2014 loss to the New Orleans Saints all over again.

BUT THEN THE DOUBLE DOINK HAPPENED.

Cody Parkey’s kick got tipped by Eagles defensive tackle Treyvon Hester before hitting the left upright, bouncing down to the crossbar, and then falling harmlessly to the grass at Soldier Field. And just like that, THE EAGLES WON!
