Senior Bowl practice review days 1 & 2

The Kist & Solak Show #73!

NCAA Football: Senior Bowl Practice-North John David Mercer-USA TODAY Sports

The Senior Bowl practices are in the books and it’s time to get caught up. We got you covered on The Kist & Solak Show #73!

First we talk about a Senior Bowl participant that the Draft Network mocked to the Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles in their Live Draft Show. You may not know of him yet but Delaware’s Nasir Adderley has a chance to be picked as the top safety in the 2019 NFL Draft if Alabama’s Deionte Thompson’s stock falters under a microscope. I was excited to see Adderley coming into the week and included him in my list of players to keep an eye on for the Eagles.

“My first exposure to Adderley was against North Dakota State in a blowout. From the first drive, if you didn’t know who he was, you’d want to remedy that quickly. He was all over the field and the effort never dipped a blowout. He showed range, fluidity, instincts and physicality. Basically, he checked every box. If he continues to check boxes in Mobile he’s going to make a lot of money come April.”

We also discuss about an intriguing small school wide receiver that is going to burn rubber at the NFL Combine, a thick space eating interior defensive lineman, potential targets at tackle and much much more all through the lens of the first two Senior Bowl practices.

We’ll be back with more Senior Bowl analysis as we begin to wrap up the week and move toward the showcase game. For now, listen to The Kist & Solak Show on the media player below or click here for a direct download if the player doesn’t load. FLY EAGLES FLY!
