Hall of Fame safety Brian Dawkins (isn’t it great to be able to officially call him that?) will soon be adding another ring to his collection.
The Pro Football Hall of Fame announced that Dawkins will be receiving his “Ring of Excellence” during halftime of the Philadelphia Eagles versus Carolina Panthers game this season on Sunday, October 21.
Here’s what the ring looks like:

Pretty nice, right?
Of course, this is just the SECOND ring Dawkins will have received this year. He previously received an Eagles Super Bowl ring since he was serving as a member of Philadelphia’s front office at the time. Dawkins stepped down from his full-time role back in May.
And as if the rings weren’t cool enough, Dawkins received both his gold jacket and his bronze bust (pictured above this article) for being enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame back in August.
All of this is very cool. It’s nice to see Dawkins getting the respect he truly deserves.
You can count on the Linc going crazy when Dawk is honored during halftime of the Eagles’ Week 7 game.
