FINAL SCORE
The Eagles to the Titans in overtime on Sunday by a final score of 26 to 23. The Eagles were up 17-3 at one point. Pathetic.
Philadelphia drops to 2-2 with the loss.
OVERTIME
Titans twelfth drive: Eagles need a stop here to win the game. Time to earn that paycheck once again, Schwartz. Mariota runs for seven yards after escaping pressure. Quick screen to Davis goes for a first down. Mariota goes deep and Darius Jennings is wide open but it’s dropped. Wow. HUGE break for the defense. Jenkins breaks up a Mariota pass to bring up 3rd-and-10. Mariota throws to Davis along the sideline and the ball is too high, incomplete. 4th-and-10. Eagles can win the game with a stop here. Titans take one of their two overtime timeouts. Titans get called for a false start to bring up 4th-and-15. Mariota completes a ball to Taylor on a curl route. Easy first down by Graham getting lost there. Great. Titans move to the Eagles’ 42-yard line with a Henry run. Titans almost spring a big play on a screen but Jenkins manages to trip up Lewis to set up 3rd-and-4. Clutch play by Jenk. Mariota’s third down pass to Davis is in the dirt. 4th-and-4. It’s incomplete! But Sidney Jones is flagged. UGH. Jenkins tackles Henry for a loss and the Titans are knocked back to 2nd-and-14. Graham bursts into the backfield and sacks Mariota to bring up 3rd-and-19. Haloti Ngata also with pressure there. Mariota runs for 17 yards to bring up 4th-and-2. Titans bring in Succop to attempt a 50-yard field goal. But Vrabel calls a timeout and the Titans send their offense back out. Mariota throws it to Lewis and the Titans move down to the 15-yard line. UGH. Jenkins gets called for defensive holding to put the Titans at the 10-yard line. 24 seconds remain, Titans have no timeouts. Mariota’s first down pass is JUST off target to an open Titans receiver in the end zone. 20 seconds remains. Davis drops a pass. 17 seconds remain. Mariota completes it this time to Davis in the end zone. Touchdown. Eagles loss. Fucking pathetic.
Eagles twelfth drive: Ajayi runs for seven yards to get OT started. Ajayi runs again for a first down but there’s a flag. Holding? Nope. It’s picked up. Eagles now at their own 41-yard line. Wentz throws to Jeffery to move past midfield to the Titans’ 45. Smallwood breaks some contact and runs to the left for another first down. Great run by Smallwood. Ajayi runs up the middle for another first down. Philly now in the red zone at the Titans’ 18. Ajayi gets tackled for a loss to set up 2nd-and-12. Wentz throws to Agholor over the middle and it’s DROPPED AGAIN. Fourth time today. What the hell, Nelly. Wentz’s third down pass is almost picked off. Eagles have to settle for a 37-yard field goal. Elliott makes it. Good job, Jake. Eagles lead, 23-20.
Overtime coin toss: Eagles win the coin and elect to receive, obviously.
FOURTH QUARTER
Titans eleventh drive: Titans take a knee and we’re going to overtime.
Eagles eleventh drive: Eagles start at their own 39-yard line thanks to a 42-yard punt return by DeAndre Carter! Really like that dude. Wentz completes a pass to Ertz for a 5-yard gain. The play is reviewed and it stands. Eagles run a screen to Jeffery and he takes it to the 19-yard line with 1:03 remaining in the game. Wentz lobs it up to Jeffery in the end zone but he looses track of the ball in the sun. Incomplete. Wentz checks it down to Smallwood to set up 3rd-and-3. Pederson lets the clock run and then Wentz throws out of bounds in the end zone to bring up fourth down. Eagles had two timeouts there. Why not take one there and maybe draw up a better play? Elliott comes in for the 30-yard field goal ... and he makes it. Phew. Tie game, 20-20.
Titans tenth drive: Titans face 3rd-and-3 with 1:59 left. Titans run a quick screen to Davis but he’s tackled short of the sticks. Eagles take their first timeout.
Eagles tenth drive: Need a touchdown here, Eagles. Wentz is pressured and overthrows Smallwood on first down. Smallwood makes a nice extra effort to pick up a first down after being hit short of the sticks. Smallwood runs twice to bring up 3rd-and-4. Wentz targets a tightly covered Ertz and it’s incomplete. Pederson decides to punt instead of going for it.
Titans ninth drive: Davis beats Mills deep on a double move for a 51-yard gain. Shocking! Titans get to 1st-and-goal from the 9-yard line. Eagles tackle Henry in the backfield for a 2-yard loss. Mariota hits Tajae Sharpe for a touchdown and the Titans take the lead. Sidney Jones beaten that time. Titans do the Eagles’ bowling touchdown celebration to rub it in. Boo. Titans lead, 20-17.
Eagles ninth drive: Ajayi and Brandon Brooks have to leave the game after getting banged up. Isaac Seumalo lining up at right guard. Wentz checks down to Agholor to set up 3rd-and-6. Brooks back in now. Agholor drops a pass on 3rd-and-6. That’s three drops and one fumble now. Bad time for pre-2017 Agholor to show up.
Titans eighth drive: Titans take over the Eagles’ 35-yard line. Jenkins makes a clutch open field tackle on Lewis to set up 3rd-and-1. Titans run for no gain to set up 4th-and-1. Mike Vrabel goes for it. Mariota scrambles and tosses to Lewis for a first down. Titans in the red zone now. Fletcher Cox returns after getting banged up. Corey Graham makes a big tackle for loss on a screen play to Henry to bring up 3rd-and-12. Eagles defense manages to contain a short pass to Lewis and the Titans have to settle for a 33-yard field goal attempt. Succop makes it. Now a four-point game. Eagles lead, 17-13.
Eagles eighth drive (continued): Wentz slips and gets sacked with a blitz bearing down on him to set up 2nd-and-20. Matthews drop a pass despite being wide open. Vintage JMatt. Wentz gets strip-sacked on third down and the Titans recover. F word. Lane Johnson allowed the sack. Wentz got hit in the helmet but no call.
THIRD QUARTER
Eagles eighth drive: Wentz gets tackled on a scramble where he has a ton of room in front of him. Caught from behind by Harold Landry. Eagles pick up a first down with Ajayi, who is taking on all kinds of contact.
Titans seventh drive: Eagles defense allows the Titans to march down into the red zone. Not ideal. Mills get flagged to set up the Titans in goal-to-go territory. Questionable call. Then Mariota runs it in for the score. Bad response from Schwartz’s unit. Way to wipe out the Eagles’ efforts on the last drive.
Eagles seventh drive: Eagles get the ball to start the second half. Wentz steps up to avoid pressure and fires a pass to a wide open Ertz for ANOTHER first down. He’s unstoppable. Ajayi picks up a big gain on the ground but it’s called back due to a hold by Jason Peters. Dallas Goedert trucks Butler along the sideline after a solid gain. Then Goedert draws a pass interference penalty down the field with Kevin Byard trying to cover him. Goedert makes a short catch to get the Eagles to 3rd-and-6 from the Titans’ 21-yard line. Wentz throws a beauty of a back shoulder throw to Jeffery for a first down in the red zone. Dime. Agholor fumbles on a screen and the Eagles get lucky that the Titans recovered it while out of bounds, so Philly gets to keep the ball. Eagles get called for holding. And then again as Ajayi stiff arms his own teammate (Aiken) to the ground. Wentz scrambles forward and draws a penalty after getting hit as he slides to the ground, but the refs pick it up. OK? Peters briefly leaves the game to get looked at. Wentz throws to Jeffery in the end zone on third down and the receiver makes a GREAT jump ball catch for the touchdown. BOOM! Eagles lead, 17-3.
SECOND QUARTER
Eagles sixth drive: Eagles take over with great field position. Chance here to take some shots in the end zone. Or not. Eagles curiously run with Ajayi on 3rd-and-3 and take a timeout to give Jake Elliott a shot at a 27-yard field goal attempt. He drills it. Doug Pederson looking like James Franklin with that third down play call. Eagles lead, 10-3.
Titans sixth drive: Cameron Johnston fails to pin the Titans back deep with another punt that goes for a touchback. Gotta be better with his directional punting. Mariota throws down the field and it’s an EASY pick for Avonte Maddox, who is playing deep as a safety! Bad throw by Mariota.

Eagles fifth drive: Eagles get the ball back with a little over two minutes to work with. Wentz leads the Eagles to midfield with a number of first down completions, including one to Kamar Aiken (!). Wentz gets forced into an incompletion when an unblocked Kenny Vacarro pressures him off the edge. Wentz then gets sacked to bring up 3rd-and-19. Eagles really struggling to handle the blitz. Lane Johnson makes matters worse and gets penalized for a false start to bring up 3rd-and-24. Eagles run the ball with Smallwood to pick up a 15-yard chunk and force the Titans to take their second timeout with 49 seconds left in the first half.
Titans fifth drive: Derek Barnett sacks Mariota on the first play of this drive. Then Mariota has an overthrown incompletion to bring up 3rd-and-17. Jones tackles Taylor to bring up fourth down. Three-and-out.
Derek Barnett with a sack in Tennessee, sounds familiar. #FlyEaglesFly pic.twitter.com/tGoXB90ADU

Eagles fourth drive: Good punt from the Titans pins the Eagles back deep yet again. This time at their own 3-yard line. Eagles run with Smallwood on 3rd-and-3 to pick up a first down. Good push from the o-line and credit to Smallwood for continuing to churn his legs. Wentz to Ertz for another first down. And then another! It’s automatic. Then Wentz targets a wide open Jordan Matthews deep (say what?) for a touchdown! Second longest reception of his career. Malcolm Butler beat on the play after just failing to cover him. Kudos to the Eagles o-line for really stepping up on this drive after a rough start. Also, Wentz looks really freaking good. Eagles lead, 7-3.

Titans fourth drive: Henry runs for 14 yards, his longest of the year. Mariota finds a wide open Davis for another first down. Too many soft spots in this Eagles defense. Jenkins make a nice open field tackle on Lewis to bring up 3rd-and-4 around midfield. Mariota targets Taylor on a back shoulder throw but Sidney Jones has good coverage and it’s incomplete.
Eagles third drive: Eagles start at their own 5-yard line after the Titans punt. Ajayi takes a handoff for six yards. Ajayi runs again for no gain. Wentz targets Alshon Jeffery deep on 3rd-and-4 and it’s complete for a 31-yard gain. Welcome back, Alshon. Great touch throw by Wentz. Wentz throws to Agholor for another first. Wendell Smallwood drops a pass. Wentz underthrows Agholor to set up 3rd-and-10. Jurrell Casey breaks through Philly’s o-line again to nearly force a sack. Incompletion instead to force a punt. Eagles MUST block better. Wentz is getting hit way too much.
FIRST QUARTER
Titans third drive: Darby gives up two completions for first downs. Jordan Hicks and Mills both whiff on trying to tackle Dion Lewis to set up 3rd-and-1 for the Titans. Just bad tackling. Mariota runs forward for the conversion. Mariota takes a deep shot to Taywan Taylor but Darby knocks it down. Lucky he wasn’t flagged for interference because he got there early and he was beaten deep. Eagles prevent the Titans from converting a screen play on 3rd-and-11.
Eagles second drive: Wentz to Ertz for a first down over the middle. Too easy. Then Wentz is sacked by a blitzing corner on play-action. Too easy in a bad way. Wentz throws a little high to Ajayi on a screen and it’s snuffed out. Eagles back to 3rd-and-21. Wentz with a great throw on target to Agholor for a first down but Agholor drops it. Gotta make that play, Nelly.
Titans second drive: Mariota hits a wide open Davis on first down. The Titans receiver found a soft spot in coverage between Malcolm Jenkins and Ronald Darby. Eagles get the Titans to 3rd-and-long after stopping a run. Schwartz sends the blitz and it’s Michael Bennett who first gets to Mariota for the sack. Bennett’s first with the Eagles. Nice job, D. DeAndre Carter back to receive the punt but he lets it go in the end zone for a touchback.
Eagles first drive: Carson Wentz takes a deep shot to Nelson Agholor on the first play of the game. Agholor is open but can’t track it properly as the ball goes through his hands. No matter, Wentz fires over the middle to Zach Ertz for Philly’s first first down. Wesley Woodyard goes down for the Titans. Significant loss for their defense. Eagles challenge the middle of the Titans’ defense right away by running Jay Ajayi up the middle for a first down. Wentz takes a bit hit on an incompletion to set up 3rd-and-9 around midfield. Wentz faces pressure up the middle from an unblocked blitzer and has to get rid of the ball. Punt. Cameron Johnston fails to give the coverage unit a chance to down the ball and it goes for a touchback.
Titans first drive: Derrick Henry picks up a first down on a screen reception. Then Marcus Mariota takes off running. Mariota has Corey Davis wide open (Jalen Mills trailing) but Mariota sails the pass to the open receiver to set up 3rd-and-3. Mariota goes back to Davis and Mills gets beat to allow a 28-yard gain. Stop me if you’ve heard this before: Mills bit on a double move. Not a good start for the Green Goblin. Eagles stuff a run and the Titans fail to convert a 3rd-and-7 after Mariota’s pass is dropped beyond the sticks. Lucky break there for Jim Schwartz’s unit. Titans settle for a field goal and Ryan Succop drills it. Defensive note: Avonte Maddox is getting snaps in Philly’s dime coverage. Titans lead, 3-0.
Coin toss: Eagles win the toss and defer, as usual. Titans up on offense first.

GAME INFORMATION
The Philadelphia Eagles are back in action today.
The reigning Super Bowl champions are looking to advance to 3-1 on the 2018 NFL season as they face the Titans in Tennessee. It’s the second week in a row the Eagles will be playing an AFC South opponent.
Not unlike last week’s matchup, this game has some potential for ugliness. The Titans’ defense has been good enough to allow the team get to 2-1 with their one loss coming to an undefeated Miami Dolphins squad. The Eagles’ offense, meanwhile, hasn’t been at 100%, especially with Carson Wentz looking rusty in his first game back.
It’s very possible Wentz looks sharper in this outing. He should be helped by the fact that it looks like Alshon Jeffery will be returning.
We also might see a better-than-usual road performance from Jim Schwartz’s defense, which has noticeably struggled in away games. The Eagles should be able to stop the Titans’ running attack.
A win here should have Eagles fans feeling pretty good. Going 3-1 in the first quarter of the season with Wentz missing two games is a real strong start.
Here’s everything you need to know about how to watch today’s game.
