In the last review of the Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles’ 27-21 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, The Kist & Solak Show #12 digs deep into the film to give a deeper look at what went wrong. Plus the rumored Jordan Matthews signing is discussed before it became official this morning.
There were so many questions about the Eagles game plan, offensively and defensively, that the film doesn’t necessarily answer. For instance, 12 personnel was more effective for the Eagles but why did Josh Perkins play more than Dallas Goedert? Why is Kamar Aiken a thing and why was he ever a thing? Why does Jim Schwartz insist on giving up a million curls without playing bail or trap coverage?
Some answers were found, like the impact Jay Ajayi’s first half injury had on the way the Buccaneers deployed their defense and the boggling amount of missed opportunities Nick Foles kept gripped tightly in his hand.
Many said that Jalen Mills was at fault for the opening play 75-yard touchdown, but we know better now. And the defensive line continued to be disruptive, but that didn’t matter. All that and more on The Kist & Solak Show #12.
