Week 2 of the 2018 NFL regular season ends tonight with a game between the Seattle Seahawks (0-1) and Chicago Bears (0-1).
This game will feature former Eagles and Browns linebacker Mychal Kendricks making his Seahawks debut. Seattle signed Kendricks last week despite the fact he pleaded guilty to insider trading. During an ESPN appearance on Sunday morning, Adam Schefter said the NFL has suspended Kendricks but it hasn’t gone into effect yet due to the appeal process. It’ll be interesting to see the results.
As far as rooting interests go in this game, here’s what I wrote on Sunday:
The Bears might very well be the better side of these two teams. But after watching Russell Wilson torture the Eagles’ defense for two years in a row, I think Seattle is specifically more threatening to Philadelphia. So with that in mind, a Seahawks loss could be good. Root for the Bears.
