We haven’t gotten any official word that Carson Wentz has been medically cleared for contact just yet, but it seems like Jason Peters is preparing for the quarterback’s return in Week 3 against the Colts.
Jason Peters on Carson Wentz's pending return. "I know the guy is going to get out there and try to make plays for us. Anytime a guy comes off of injury, you're excited for the guy to come back and do well. He's the franchise quarterback, and I'm happy for him to even be back."

Wentz has looked progressively better since the preseason, and despite not making his Week 1 goal of returning to the field, the team has rightfully been taking things slow to best prevent re-aggravating the injury.
Head coach Doug Pederson has, on occasion, been testy with reporters about whether Wentz was cleared and who would be starting at quarterback in their season opener, but all signs point to the young quarterback being back sooner rather than later.
Jason Peters suffered a quad injury on Sunday against the Bucs, but is giving it his all to get back on the field to protect his quarterback.
Jason Peters told @RealDGunnNBCS he’s going to do everything he can to be ready to be on the field with Carson Wentz next Sunday. #Eagles

We haven’t heard anything official from Pederson, but it seems like the players are at least preparing for Wentz’s return. Not that Eagles fans aren’t thankful for what Nick Foles pulled off in the playoffs and Super Bowl, but I feel safe saying we’re all ready to get back on the Wentz Wagon.
