It’s time for Philadelphia Eagles football!
The Eagles are scheduled to face the Cleveland Browns in a “dress rehearsal” game tonight on Thursday, Aug. 23 at 8:00 PM ET in some preseason action.
Since this game’s outcome doesn’t matter, the Eagles starters will only play for a limited amount of time. Doug Pederson said he plans to play the first team through the second quarter (and possibly into the third). Then the backups will take over and finish out the night.
Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles will get the start under center for the Eagles. Tyrod Taylor will be quarterbacking the Browns to start before No. 1 overall pick Baker Mayfield gets in the game.
