The Eagles’ Super Bowl victory is going to be featured on the newest season of everyone’s favorite Philly-based sitcom: It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
From an official FXX press release (h/t Brian Grubb):
Even without Dennis Reynolds, the Gang has its hands full as Charlie hopes to have a child with The Waitress, Mac sets out to understand his newfound sexuality, Dee takes feminism to new heights, and Frank goes to great lengths for the Gang to experience the greatest moment in Philadelphia sports history – an Eagles Super Bowl victory.
This is gonna be good.
I mean, I don’t know if it’ll top that time Donovan McNabb was on the show, but I’m hopeful.
Jokes aside, it appears one actual member of the Eagles might appear on the show this season. The legendary Jason Kelce was spotted on set earlier this year:
Can’t wait to see how this shapes up.
The 13th season of Always Sunny is scheduled to premiere on Wednesday, September 5. That’s one night before the Eagles’ home opener against the Atlanta Falcons.
