Hey, remember Ben McAdoo? The New York Giants head coach that got fired last season?
Yeah, well, he made some public comments on Thursday for the first time since he got canned.
McAdoo told the New York Post that he really likes what his former team is doing this offseason. He likes it so much that he thinks the G-Men are going to win the NFC East this year.
“I think they’re gonna win the division. [...] I think Philly, how much success has Philly had? I think they’re gonna have a hard time handling success. Dallas, I like their offensive line, but how long have we been saying that? Their defense, they got a bunch of young guys playing DB, Sean Lee is banged up a lot, and their D-line, they got a bunch of guys getting in trouble all the time. And Washington is Washington, right?”
Ah, yes.
I love how the Eagles winning the Super Bowl is actually a bad thing for them now.
Also gotta love how the guy who went 11-5 in 2016 and then dropped to 2-10 before getting fired in 2017 is the expert on how to handle success!
If anything, McAdoo’s comments make me feel even better about the Eagles now. Because it’s clear this guy has no idea what he’s talking about.

Thank God the Eagles hired Doug Pederson instead of this dude.
