The Philadelphia Eagles have officially announced their 2018 training camp schedule. The team’s third camp of the Doug Pederson era will begin when the entire team reports on Wednesday, July 25. Unlike the previous two years, rookies, quarterbacks, and select veterans will not report a few days early.
Most training camp practices will take place at the Eagles’ headquarters, the NovaCare Complex, in South Philly. Unlike the open training camp practices at Lehigh University during the Andy Reid era, these practices will once again be closed to the the fans. Only media members (such as myself) and select season ticket members will be allowed to attend.
The good news for Eagles fans is that the defending Super Bowl champions will hold two practices open to the public once again at Lincoln Financial Field.
The first open practice starts at 7:00 PM ET on Sunday, August 5. The theme is Military Appreciation Night.
The second one is scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM ET on Saturday, August 11. The theme is Family Day.
Unlike previous years, general admission tickets are now REQUIRED. But don’t worry, they’re free of charge. Attendees must reserve a ticket ahead of time with a limit of six per household. Tickets can be reserved beginning at 10:00 AM ET on Wednesday, July 18 by visiting www.ticketmaster.com. Seating at Lincoln Financial Field will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
As always, I will be reporting to training camp practice each and every day so make sure you stay tuned to Bleeding Green Nation and follow me on Twitter (@BrandonGowton) for complete Eagles coverage.
