EA Sports announced the cover athlete for the Hall of Fame edition of Madden NFL 19 on Friday and hey, what do you know, it’s former Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Terrell Owens.
Unfortunately, the cover gives more weight to his Dallas Cowboys career, however.

Boo.
Weird choice to not have T.O. in a 49ers or Eagles uniform, but I guess Madden is just trying to appeal to all the bandwagon fans out there.
I also suppose they didn’t want to bring back memories of their old competitor.

I’ll always have a soft spot for T.O.’s Eagles career despite the fact how it ended. He was amazing to watch. His Hall of Fame enshrinement later this summer is well deserved.
With that said, I certainly won’t be buying this edition of Madden. I haven’t bought the game for several years now anyway.
EA Sports has yet to announce their cover athlete for the standard edition of Madden NFL 19.
