Last week, Brandon Graham told SportsRadio 94WIP’s Jon Marks and Ike Reese that he’s among a group of Philadelphia Eagles players who will NOT be visiting the White House when the team travels down to Washington D.C. to be honored as Super Bowl champions on Tuesday, June 5.
One Eagles fan responded to this news by writing a letter to Graham. The Eagles’ defensive end posted the letter on his official Instagram page (hat tip r/Eagles). See below:

In case you can’t see it, the letter reads:
Dear Brandon,
I always felt you were an all right regular guy, who loved America, but you have clearly shown your intense hatred towards America!
I am appalled that you and a couple of your asshole team-mates are turning down an offer made by President Trump to visit our nations White House, as the Super Bowl Football Champions.
If I owned the Eagles Football Team everyone of you would have been fired and released immediately when you decided not to visit Washington.
To say I am totally disappointed in your decision is tremendously understated. And as a result I am no longer a fan of yours.
It would be great news, to me, to see you let go from the team.
You have my complete and utter contempt,
[REDACTED]P.S. You have my permission to show this letter to your ass-hole team mates — so they know how a long time Eagles fan feels about you miserable bastards.
Man, what a shitty letter.
I really don’t understand how you can watch Graham make the BIGGEST PLAY IN FRANCHISE HISTORY by strip-sacking Tom Brady to virtually ensure the Eagles’ Super Bowl win ...
... and then say he should be cut because he doesn’t want to visit the White House. Come on.
Like, what happened to the “win a Super Bowl and you’ll never have to buy a beer in this town again” mindset that everyone’s always talked about?
People have a lot of different opinions on political stuff. I get it.
But I really feel like one thing we should all be able to agree on is that Graham doesn’t deserve to be treated like this. He’s a god damn hero.
If you want to disagree with his decision not to go, that’s your right. But referring to him as a “miserable bastard” and an “asshole” is totally unnecessary. And wishing he loses his job is just pathetic and dumb.
The author of this letter to Graham should feel very ashamed and embarrassed.
