Eagles 2018 NFL draft picks begin rookie minicamp

The Eagles added five new players to their roster via picks in the 2018 NFL Draft and 15 more rookies via undrafted free agency. These new Eagles have arrived in Philadelphia and will officially hit the practice fields today, Friday, May 11 when rookie minicamp begins.

There will also be some media availability today. Super Bowl winning head coach Doug Pederson will speak to reporters at 11:15 AM ET. Players will be available to reporters after practice. Stay tuned to BGN for more coverage.

A total of 51 players will participate in Philadelphia’s rookie minicamp, including 23 tryout players. Tryout players obviously do not count against the 90 man roster as they are not under contract. Some “first-year” players, who mostly spent time on the Eagles’ 2017 practice squad, will also be in attendance.
