With the 49th overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles selected a 6-5, 256 pound athletic freak who can make some pretty ridiculous catches. Familiarize yourself with new Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert: the only Dallas that doesn’t suck.

Whoa. Talk about a red zone weapon.
Let’s look at that play again from a different view.

Beast. And he got both feet in, not just the one needed for the college catch rule.
This play wasn’t a one-time deal, either. Goedert made impressive grabs like this multiple times at South Dakota State. Just look at this:

The presence of both Goedert and Alshon Jeffery gives the Eagles some really good jump ball targets for Carson Wentz. That’s going to be hard to defend.
Goedert’s athleticism isn’t just on display when it comes to the tape. His testing numbers were strong.

Welcome to Philly, Dallas. (That’s a weird thing to say.)
