The Philadelphia Eagles have made a terrible mistake.
You know that “fun surprise” Rich Eisen said the Philadelphia Eagles had in store for the No. 32 overall pick in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft?
Yeah, well, Eisen spilled some details on that planned surprise prior to the beginning of the second round on Friday evening.
“By the way, there was word that [Jason] Kelce, in full Mummers gear, might have been the choice [to announce the Eagles’ pick at No. 32] had they not [traded down].” — @richeisen

Man. This is a bummer.
It would’ve been amazing to see Kelce step up the podium and troll the crap out of Cowboys fans in their own stadium.
Football wise, the Eagles’ decision to trade down still makes sense. But petty wise, it would’ve been real nice if Kelce could’ve announced a pick at No. 32.
Here’s hoping the Eagles still find a way to get Kelce involved before the draft is over, but I’m not holding my breath.
David Akers will have a chance to rub the Eagles’ Lombardi Trophy in the face of Cowboys fans tonight. Do us proud, David.
UPDATE: So maybe Eisen doesn’t know what he’s talking about? Or he was kidding?
Hate to reveal the truth and not fake news but I personally saw Jason Kelce at Eagles practice complex late Thursday afternoon. Pretty hard to be in 2 places at same time. @SportsRadioWIP https://t.co/WlJNPbxNUY
