New players

Michael Bennett is wearing 77. Last worn by Taylor Hart. Bennett wore 91 and 71 with the Buccaneers before switching to 72 in Seattle.

Mike Wallace is wearing 14. Last worn by Marcus Johnson, who was traded to the Seahawks this offseason. Wallace has previously only worn 11 or 17, which are obviously both taken in Philly.

Haloti Ngata is wearing 94. Last worn by Beau Allen. Ngata worn 92 with the Ravens and Lions.

Corey Nelson is wearing 52. Last worn by Najee Goode. Nelson wore 52 with the Broncos.

Richard Rodgers is wearing 82. Last worn by Torrey Smith. Rodgers wore 89 and 82 with the Packers.

Paul Worrilow is wearing 50. Last worn by Bryan Braman. Worrilow wore 55 on the Falcons and 58 on the Lions.

Marquess Wilson is wearing 81. Last worn by Jordan Matthews. Wilson wore 10 with the Bears.

Number changes

Ronald Darby changed from 41 to 21. That’s much better. 41 did not suit him well. 21 was last worn by Patrick Robinson. Darby wore 28 with the Bills.

Jay Ajayi changed from 36 to 26. No longer using Brian Westbrook’s number, which was the only one available to him when he was traded to Philly last year. 26 was last worn by Jaylen Watkins. Ajayi wore 27 at Boise State and 23 with the Dolphins.

Taylor Hart is changing from 77 to 76. Hart started wearing 77 when he switched from defensive tackle to offensive tackle. 76 was last worn by Allen Barbre.

Randall Goforth changed from 35 to 36. Goforth was wearing 35 as an undrafted rookie free agent last year before he suffered a season-ending injury in training camp. 36 was last worn by Ajayi.

Tre Sullivan changed from 49 to 37. Sullivan had 49 with the Eagles as a UDFA last summer. 37 was last worn by C.J. Smith.

Aziz Shittu changed from 61 to 90. Big upgrade for Shittu, who wore 61 with the Eagles two summers ago. 90 was last worn by Justin Hamilton.
