UPDATE: I AM FINE I AM FINE I AM FINE. THIS WAS A GREAT TRADE. THE EAGLES ARE A GOOD TEAM. THEY WON THE SUPER BOWL.

UPDATE: RIGHT NOW Ravens give 52, 125, and 2019 2nd round pick, for 32 and 132 THE EAGLES ARE OUT OF THE FIRST ROUND THE EAGLES MADE A GREAT TRADE WHAT’S GOOOOOOOOD!!!

[UPDATE: 11:31 PM ET]: EAGLES TRADE BACK HECK YEAH RAVENS GIVE US PICK!!!!!

[UPDATE: 11:26 PM ET]: SONY MICHEL TO THE PATS EAGLES HAVE GOOD OPTIONS BUT WILL PROBABLY TRADE BACK BUT EVERYTHING IS GREAT

[UPDATE: 11:14 PM ET]: WITH THE VIKINGS TAKING MIKE HUGHES ONE OF DERRIUS GUICE OR CONNOR WILLIAMS WILL BE ON THE BOARD FOR EAGLES AND I’D BE FINE WITH BOTH AT 32 WHOOOOOOHO!

[UPDATE: 11:14 PM ET] THE STEELERS PICKING TERRELL EDMUNDS IS THE SILLIEST THING I’VE EVER HEARD. Big ups to Shazier though; that’s a dog.

[UPDATE: 11:06 PM ET] THE SEAHAWKS PICKING RASHAAD PENNY IS THE SILLIEST THING I’VE EVER HEARD.

[UPDATE: 11:03 PM ET] Lamar, Guice, Connor Williams all left on the board. Dallas Goedert as well. This is crazy stuff guys.

[UPDATE: 10:45 PM ET] The Patriots—who lost the Super Bowl to the Eagles—grabbed Isaiah Wynn. There’s been a run on interior offensive line, but Philly should be targeting a tackle. Lamar Jackson and Mason Rudolph falling is good news for the Eagles to move 32, however.

[UPDATE: 10:31 PM ET] Jinxed it! Rashaan Evans, ‘Bama ‘backer, is off the board to the Tennessee Titans. It’s no worries though, he was an outside shot.

[UPDATE: 10:23 PM ET] The board could not be better for Philadelphia right now.

[UPDATE: 10:02 PM ET] The Eagles went 3/3 on NFC East picks, in my eyes. The Giants took Saquon Barkley, who isn’t a great value at 2. The Redskins took Alabama DT Da’Ron Payne, a Round 2 grade on my board, instead of Derwin James. The Cowboys took Boise LB Leighton Vander Esch, a Round 2 grade on my board, instead of Harold Landry. This is all wonderful news.

[UPDATE: 9:46 PM ET] 16 picks in, and things are going well for the Birds. The Raiders took Kolton Miller, which is a bit of a reach. so the best OT left on the board is Connor Williams out of Texas—that’s not too great. But Derrius Guice only has to clear the Seattle Seahawks and Detroit Lions to be, very likely, available for the Birds—and there’s a lot of good defenders left for both teams with defensive needs. Things are looking good on the Guice train.

[UPDATE: 9:24 PM ET] Vita Vea is a reach at 12 for a Buccaneers team with more needs than that. He’s a great player, but Derwin James or Harold Landry woulda been the far better selection. Shame.

[UPDATE: 9:11 PM ET] Ohhh snap! Cardinals trading up for a QB is huge for him. This draft could have fallen a different way. Only trading a 3rd and a 5th as well. Rosen is QB1. Cardinals the leader of the Draft to this point.

[UPDATE: 8:53 PM ET] The Bucs traded back to 12 (Buffalo to 7 to take Josh Allen). Is that late enough to justify Guice? I doubt it. But those added 2nd-round picks could help them move up for him later.

[UPDATE: 8:44 PM ET] The Jets took Sam Darnold. I like it—coulda been Rosen or Lamar, but it wasn’t Allen, and that’s the key. The Browns took Denzel Ward: that’s a reach. The Broncos took Bradley Chubb—and they shoulda taken a QB, but for a non-QB, that’s an excellent pick.

[UPDATE: 8:17 PM ET] YOOOOOO the Giants taking Saquon Barkley may mean they’ve got a top talent, but it’s not top value. You need to get a player who makes more snap-to-snap impact than an RB when you’re picking at 2. Bad teams stay bad.

[UPDATE: 8:17 PM ET] Browns take Mayfield? If there’s a guy that can change that culture in Cleveland, Baker might be that stud. What a fun player.

[UPDATE: 7:45 PM ET] This piece of breaking news that the Bucs could look to trade up to snag Guice if he drops. That’s unfortunate, but not world ending. Also keep an eye on the Seahawks and even the Steelers to do the same, depending on where Guice falls.

[UPDATE: 7:21 PM ET] Howdy team! It’s Ben Solak, chattin’ about all things Draft. My first update for you is this: Lamar Jackson looks like a stud.

[UPDATE: 6:00 PM ET] The thread is up! BLG here. The great Benjamin Solak will be keeping this post fresh with updates above this one you’re currently reading. I’ll be busy writing other posts for the front page and hanging out on the live BGN Facebook broadcast. Follow me for updates on Twitter: @BrandonGowton. Here’s to a fun night.
