First look at the Philadelphia Eagles’ Super Bowl banner

It’s beautiful.

The Eagles released a cool video of Super Bowl winning head coach Doug Pederson talking about “the new normal” as players returned to the team’s facility for the start of Philadelphia’s offseason workout program on Monday.

But before we take a deep dive into that, let’s take a moment to appreciate the glorious sight at the END of the video: the Philadelphia Eagles’ Super Bowl banner.

If I’m not mistaken, this banner at the NovaCare Complex shares the same design of the one that will be raised at Lincoln Financial Field when the Eagles open the 2018 NFL season on Thursday, September 6. The ones surrounding it are already also hanging at the Linc, so it would only make sense.

This is the banner that Minnesota Vikings fans will seemingly have to watch prior to their game against the Eagles in Philly that night. (Note that this matchup hasn’t been officially confirmed. We’ll know for sure when the NFL schedule is likely announced this week.)

This is the banner that will remind everyone that they’re playing in the stadium of the Super Bowl champions.

What I’m trying to say is: the Eagles won the Super Bowl.
