Philadelphia Eagles Tre Sullivan to escort Universal Audenried Charter High School senior to prom - 6ABC
Two lucky seniors at Universal Audenried Charter High School in Grays Ferry won free trips to the prom. ”They have no idea,” said Principal Blanchard Diavua. “This is going to be a complete surprise.” And that’s not all. Anton Moore, co-founder and president of ‘Unity in the Community,’ revealed there’s even a bigger surprise in store. ”She doesn’t know that Tre Sullivan from the Philadelphia Eagles is going to escort her to prom.”

Eagles 2018 NFL Draft preview: Interior offensive line - PhillyVoice
Billy Price, C, Ohio State (6’4, 312): Price likely would have been a first round pick had he not torn a pectoral muscle during the pre-draft process, putting his rookie season in jeopardy. Instead, he’ll almost certainly slide into the second round, and maybe even into the third. Last year, the Eagles played the long game by drafting Sidney Jones in the second round, knowing that he likely would not play his rookie season. The Eagles could find similar long-term value in Price if they trade out of the first round. Round projection: 2-3.

Home Sweet Home - Iggles Blitz
Worley is from Philly and you always wonder if coming home is a good thing. You have a lot of friends to have fun with, but those friends don’t always understand that the NFL world has consequences that don’t exist in the real world. Worley should have taken his trade as a huge warning sign that something was up. Teams just don’t give up young starting corners for the heck of it. He should have been on his best behavior. Instead, he had a fun Saturday night and he’s now out of a job. Some team will pick Worley up, but he will be on a very short leash. This doesn’t hurt the Eagles too much.

Lawlor: The Top Storylines For 2018 - PE.com
Everyone’s primary focus will be on the health of Carson Wentz. He had an amazing sophomore campaign, setting the franchise record for touchdown passes in a season. The Eagles had the top offense in football with him at the helm. Wentz tore his ACL in a December game against the Rams. Amazingly, that injury didn’t hurt the team in 2017. The question now is how it will affect the 2018 season. Wentz is working as hard as he can to get back, but he’s not expected to hit the practice field for a while. The Eagles don’t want to rush him back, especially not with a proven player like Nick Foles ready to handle things until Wentz is completely healthy. Donovan McNabb tore his ACL in November 2006. He came back in 2007, played in the preseason, and was healthy for the start of the season. McNabb wasn’t the same player, though. He was sacked more often than any other time in his career as a starter. The offense, which had been sixth in the league in scoring in 2006, fell down to 17th.

More details emerge in alleged Michael Bennett incident - USA Today
Houston-area lawyer Mike Johanson, the attorney for the 66-year-old woman, told USA TODAY Sports that his client suffered a shoulder injury that required medical treatment. “(The alleged victim) didn’t come forward to seek publicity,” Johanson said. “She was trying to do her job and got hurt.” Johanson declined to provide any more details about when his client notified authorities about the injury. “I’m OK,” the woman told USA TODAY Sports in a brief phone interview when asked if she had any lasting injuries from alleged altercation. She declined to talk about the specifics of the incident. ”I have to respect the legal process, so I can’t really say anything more,” the woman said.

Giants drafting a quarterback? Big Blue has had mixed results doing that - Big Blue View

Six Ways To Draft Day: How First Half-Dozen Picks May Go - The MMQB
I truly don’t know what the Giants will do, particularly if they’ve got a bright prospect like Darnold staring at them when their 15 minutes start April 26. But I don’t see Gettleman passing on two surer things over a quarterback he’s not at all sure about. I also would be surprised if Gettleman trades the pick with two franchise players on the board, but if the Bills offer three ones to come up, he’s going to have to think about it. I doubt he’d do it, because of what he said at the combine: “You’re drafting [at two] what you think is gonna be a Hall of Fame player. So you can’t get too cute about the whole thing.” One final piece of intel: Gettleman was the Carolina GM for five drafts, between 2013 and 2017. He never traded any of his five first-round picks. Only once did he trade one of his second-round picks, moving up 16 spots in the 2015 draft to snag wideout Devin Funchess. So there’s not much of a history there.
