Doug Pederson is dominating the Philadelphia sports scene lately.
It was just last week when the Philadelphia Eagles’ Super Bowl winning head coach threw out the ceremonial first pitch at the Phillies’ home opener.
Now Pederson is going to be ringing the ceremonial bell prior the Sixers’ home game against the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday evening.
In case you don’t follow the Sixers, it’s a big game for them. They can clinch the No. 3 seed with a win. A loss would likely drop them to the No. 4 seed in the East.
Pederson’s presence bodes well for the Sixers. The Phillies won when they hosted him last week. Hopefully he brings the Lombardi Trophy with him again to get the Wells Fargo crowd all fired up.
It’s at least a little funny to think about Pederson went from being this total unknown when he was hired to a freaking legend in this city. Underdogs, baby.
