NFL Mock Draft Roundup 2018: Derrius Guice is a popular pick for the Eagles - BGN
The 2018 NFL Draft is less than a month away! Mock draft season is in full gear and there’s no shortage of opinion as to whom the Philadelphia Eagles might select with the No. 32 overall pick. Let’s take a look at which players the experts have the Eagles taking this week.

Mailbag: What is Mychal Kendricks’ trade value? - PhillyVoice
Roseman is right that Kendricks has been the subject of trade speculation, seemingly since like 1987. At the same time though, there has been merit to that speculation. The Eagles were reportedly looking for a fifth-round pick for Kendricks a year ago. They almost dealt him to the San Francisco 49ers at the 2017 NFL Combine. In 2018, Kendricks will count for $7.6 million against the cap, $4.4 million of which they would save if they traded him. His cap number will jump to $8.6 million in 2019. I think the Eagles would be happy with a fifth-round pick this year too, even with Kendricks improving last season, though I’m not so sure they’ll get it.

How Doug Pederson could change NFL - NBC Sports Philadelphia
Of course, not all of Pederson’s aggressiveness comes from intuition. A lot of it is based on analytics. The Eagles have been open to the use of analytics for many years and owner Jeff Lurie pushed hard to make sure the next coach was open to them too. Pederson took things a step further, by having analytics voices in his ear during games. While the mathematics isn’t the final decision-maker, Pederson clearly listened to what the numbers tell him. He said he wants to have every bit of information he can before making a decision to go for it on fourth down or in a certain situation. There are at least a couple coaches in the league we know will copy that aggressiveness.

NFL free-agency recap: Top signings, grades for all 32 teams - ESPN

Car Crash Survivor Who Saved Brothers Invited To Spend Day With Carson Wentz - CBS Philly
A car crash survivor who helped save his younger brothers will soon hang out with his favorite Eagles player Carson Wentz. In an interview during the 9th Annual Ronald McDonald House Charities Telethon on CBS3, our Ukee Washington surprised 8-year-old Austin Willis with a trip to Eagles training camp. “Well, we have been talking with the Philadelphia Eagles and Carson Wentz, and they have agreed to have you and your family come to camp, watch the players, meet Carson Wentz and spend the day with them,” said Ukee during the surprise on live television.

Metrics that Matter: The aging curves by position - PFF
I was curious how various positions perform for fantasy at various stages throughout their careers. Do running backs really have the shortest shelf-life? When do wide receivers hit their peak? Is the sophomore season really the time to look for breakout seasons by tight ends? My methodology was fairly simple, despite taking me a few days to realize. We’re looking at all players between 2000 and 2017, who had at least one season totaling 1,000 or more yards from scrimmage and had their rookie seasons within our sample. I then looked at these players throughout their careers, took their average fantasy points per season, and contrasted that with their actual fantasy points in that year of their career.

Chiefs sign another backup quarterback, wide receiver - Arrowhead Pride
The Kansas City Chiefs have signed quarterback Matt McGloin and wide receiver Nelson Spruce, the team announced late Friday afternoon. McGloin, 28, originally entered the league as a 2013 undrafted free agent with the Oakland Raiders, where he spent four seasons. He spent time with the Philadelphia Eagles and Houston Texans last year.

The players NFL teams SHOULD draft, if they picked based on college performance - SB Nation
32 - Philadelphia Eagles: Micah Kiser, LB, Virginia - Kiser was one of the best linebackers in the ACC during the 2017 season. He was fourth among leading tacklers in the country, and got third-team AP All-American and first-team All-ACC nods for his 143 total tackles, five sacks, and two fumble recoveries. His production over his entire career was equally impressive. Even though in reality he’ll be a later-round pick, Kiser could be a good Plan B for the Eagles if Jordan Hicks can’t stay healthy.

NCAA Tournament, Final Four: Villanova obliterates Kansas 95-79 - VU Hoops
The Villanova Wildcats are heading back to the National Championship game, courtesy of a dominant 95-79 win over the Kansas Jayhawks. They’ll face the Michigan Wolverines on Monday night at 9:20pm ET on TBS.
