New Phillies manager Gabe Kapler invited the Eagles center down to spring training in Florida to give a motivational speech to Philadelphia’s baseball team.

The Phillies haven’t had a winning record since 2011, which is also the last time they made the post-season. This year, they’re projected to finish under .500 yet again.
Can the Phils shock the world and prove everyone wrong just like the Eagles did?! Probably not, but hey, if the Eagles can win the Super Bowl, maybe anything’s truly possible.
In any case, it’s pretty cool the Phillies called on Kelce to deliver a message to their young team. Unfortunately, there’s no video of it anywhere. I like to imagine it went something like this, as BGN Radio’s Jack Fritz suggested.
"J.P Crawford's not a top prospect anymore"— Jack Fritz (@JackFritzWIP) February 19, 2018
"Aaron Nola can't stay healthy"
"Rhys Hoskins isn't a top prospect"
"Odubel Herrera makes too many mistakes"
"Jorge Alfaro can't play defense"
"Vinny Velasquez can't go more than 5 innings"

Here are some more scenes from Kelce visiting the Phils.
Eagles’ Jason Kelce said he probably swore more during his speech this morning to the #Phillies than he did during his infamous championship parade speech. Sees a lot of similarities between the two teams. pic.twitter.com/SsrULwqx7e— Meghan Montemurro (@M_Montemurro) February 19, 2018

Jason Kelce says he might have used more salty language today talking to the Phillies than he did a couple weeks ago at the parade. Is that possible? pic.twitter.com/dmVvFKj6Hm— Todd Zolecki (@ToddZolecki) February 19, 2018
