The Philadelphia Eagles are rewarding starting left guard Stefen Wisniewski with some extra money, according to NFL insider Mike Garfolo.
Eagles G Stefen Wisniewski narrowly missed a $250k playing time incentive this year so the Eagles said no problem, we appreciate guys who block three guys on one play in the playoffs and redid his deal this week to include a $250k signing bonus for 2018. pic.twitter.com/Ymt84Li7fu

This is smart. If Wisniewski only missed his playing time incentive mark by a few snaps, there’s no need to sour any relationships over something small like that.
Besides, Wisniewski’s contributions were an underrated part of the Eagles’ Super Bowl run. The offensive line was really struggling with Isaac Seumalo at left guard. Things improved when the Eagles deployed a rotation of Chance Warmack and Wisniewski. Then they got even better when they realized Wis was a lot better than Warmack.
Wisniewski appeared in 14 regular season games and made 11 starts with Philadelphia in 2017. He missed some time late in the season due to an ankle injury but he was fully ready to go in time for the Super Bowl run.
Wis finished the year ranked 26th out of 77 guards graded by Pro Football Focus.
