Reacting to the Eagles’ devastating overtime loss to the Cowboys

The Kist & Solak Show #52

NFL: Philadelphia Eagles at Dallas Cowboys Tim Heitman-USA TODAY Sports

The Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles received the death knell of their 2018 season after a devastating 29-23 overtime loss to the Dallas Cowboys. The game featured incompetent officiating, baffling play-calling, and a host of errors that made the game complete chaos.

Regardless of how it happened, it happened. The Eagles put themselves in a position to let a freak touchdown to Amari Cooper end the night. In part, it’s due to the offense once again coming out with an agonizingly slow start. In part, it’s due to the defense not being able to come up with timely stops. It’s been the story of the season and nobody should be surprised.

So where do we go from here? What are the fates of offensive coordinator Mike Groh and defensive coordinator, among others? We discuss the game, the future, and much more on the newest Kist & Solak Show. Stream it on the media player below or click here if the player doesn’t load.

Normally I would add “FLY EAGLES FLY” at the end here, and we’re still Super Bowl Champions until that trophy is handed over, so I’m gonna do it again. Gotta get it in when you can. First, a reminder that the podcasts continue not only through the season, but the offseason as well with some of the best NFL Draft coverage you’ll find. FLY EAGLES FLY!
