Sunday’s Eagles versus Cowboys matchup is the biggest game of Carson Wentz’s career.
Philadelphia really needs a signature performance from their third-year quarterback as they try to take over as the first place team in the NFC East.
It won’t be easy for Wentz. The Cowboys’ defense is really tough. We just saw Dallas shut down MVP candidate Drew Brees.
Still, the expectations are high, and they should be. We’ve seen that Wentz has the potential to be a special player. We just saw some examples of that from his performance against Washington on Monday night. We also saw some plays that he needs to clean up.
There’s been a lot of talk about Wentz not being “clutch.” He has big opportunity to prove the doubters wrong by going into Dallas as underdogs and coming out with a win.
