The Philadelphia Eagles stayed alive in the NFC playoff picture by defeating the Washington Redskins on Monday Night Football. Let’s take a look at their updated postseason odds.

EAGLES OVERALL PLAYOFF CHANCES

FiveThirtyEight: 28%

Football Outsiders: 26.9%

WIN THE DIVISION

FiveThirtyEight: 21%

Football Outsiders: 21.4%

WIN A WILD CARD SPOT

FiveThirtyEight: 7%

Football Outsiders: 5.5%

Last week at this time, projections only gave the Eagles about a 21% chance of making the playoffs. The results of Week 13, including Philadelphia’s win, gave the Eagles a nice little boost.

The Eagles’ odds would’ve been even better if the Cowboys didn’t improbably beat the Saints on Thursday Night Football. But the reality is Philadelphia was always going to have to beat Dallas in Week 14 anyway.

The Eagles’ playoff chances will continue to climb if they can beat a Dallas team that’s won four in a row since first defeating Philly earlier this season in Week 10. The pressure is on in the NFC East.
