The Philadelphia Eagles released their second official injury report on Thursday in advance of their Week 17 game against the Washington Redskins.
FIVE players did not practice: Carson Wentz, Jason Kelce, Jordan Hicks, Michael Bennett, and Sidney Jones.
Wentz is obviously missing time as he recovers from a back fracture.
Kelce missed Thursday’s practice entirely after being listed as limited on Wednesday. That’s typically not a good sign but I can’t imagine he misses this crucial game.
Hicks did not practice on Thursday after not being listed on the injury report in any capacity on Wednesday. Seems like he suffered a setback?
Bennett will likely get some practice work in on Friday before playing on Sunday.
Jones is set to miss his seventh game of the season. He’s played in just 10 of 35 possible games since being drafted by the Eagles.
FOUR players were limited: Mike Wallace, Jason Peters, Isaac Seumalo, and D.J. Alexander.
Today marked Wallace’s first real practice since returning with the Eagles only holding a walk-through on Wednesday. It’s still unclear if he’ll be able to play on Sunday. Even if Wallace is active, his role will likely be limited as the Eagles ease him back in.
Peters is on track to play this week, as expected.
Seumalo participated in practice for the first time since getting hurt in Week 14. It’ll be interesting to see if he returns to the starting lineup or if the Eagles will just stick with Stefen Wisniewski at left guard.
Alexander could be on pace to return after missing the Texans game.
TWO players were full participants: Fletcher Cox and Corey Graham. It’s good to see they’ll be ready to play.
