The Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles had a real thriller against the Houston Texans and now that the film is out, join us on The Kist & Solak Show #59 to break it all down!
In their 32-30 win, the Eagles leaned heavily on Nick Foles and the passing game to come through, and boy did it. In an incredible duel between Foles and Deshaun Watson, both quarterbacks kicked it up a notch. For his part, Watson showed more aggressiveness than he had previously and consistently threw beyond the sticks while showcasing his ability to escape pressure.
For Foles.. well, we found more throws to talk about beyond the ones I wrote up as a sort of Christmas gift for all of his truthers. The Eagles supplanted the run game with the quick passing game for the third week in a row it led to a low pressure, high producing day for their quarterback. Simply put, it was a treat to watch their back-and-forth and both played at a high level.
Speaking of low pressure, Lane Johnson surrendered only two pressures to JJ Watt. We explain the context behind one of those pressures in what was a superb day from Johnson. Halapoulivaati Vaitai had a polar opposite performance and was dominated by Jadeveon Clowney.

But we won a Super Bowl with him... remember?
On the defensive side of the ball Avonte Maddox and Brandon Graham added to their recent résumés of excellent play with more standout performances. Graham had 11 pressures on the day and owned the matchups on the edges. He also played a key part in the forced fumble by Chris Long that was recovered by Fletcher Cox.
Talk about this on the show: different paths from the edges. Graham takes the direct route, Long runs the arc. BG forces this right into Long's path. pic.twitter.com/NsiaphCO4S
