Reacting to the Eagles’ thrilling win over the Texans

The Kist & Solak Show #58!

NFL: Houston Texans at Philadelphia Eagles Eric Hartline-USA TODAY Sports

The Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles kept their playoff hopes alive and healthy with a big 32-30 win over the Houston Texans. Nick Foles set records, Zach Ertz got his too, and despite missing an extra point during the game, Jake Elliott put the nail in the coffin with a clutch 35-yard game-winning field goal.

Now the Eagles will need help from either the Chicago Bears or Kansas City Chiefs/Arizona Cardinals. The Minnesota Vikings and Seattle Seahawks currently own the two wild card spots, but a lot can change in a week. It also had a ripple effect on the AFC playoff picture.

Dialing back to the game, Nick Foles’ performance can’t be understated. Against one of the best run defenses in the league the Eagles needed to go pass heavy and Foles needed a big performance. The Eagles did and Foles gave us his best regular season performance in a very long time.

We detail the playoff picture moving forward and breakdown all the key turning points and performances in this win on The Kist & Solak Show #58!
