The following seven players have been ruled OUT: Carson Wentz, Sidney Jones, Isaac Seumalo, D.J. Alexander, Bruce Hector, Chandon Sullivan, and Matt Pryor.
Timmy Jernigan is notably not among the inactives. He’s set to play for the first time since Week 12. His return could be a nice boost to the defensive line. Jernigan being active means Bruce Hector is a healthy scratch.
Jordan Hicks is also notably not among the inactives. He wasn’t listed on the final injury report, so he was always expected to play. Good to see it’s official now.
Wentz being out obviously means reigning Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles will start at quarterback. Nate Sudfeld is active as Foles’ backup.
Jones being out means it’ll likely be Rasul Douglas and Avonte Maddox starting outside at corner. Cre’Von LeBlanc is active after being ruled questionable to play. That’s good to see; he’ll be able to play at nickel.
Seumalo’s absence means Stefen Wisniewksi will start at left guard for the second game in a row.
Alexander is out after being questionable on the final injury report. He didn’t practice on Thursday or Friday.
Rookie running back Boston Scott is active for his first game with the Eagles. Philadelphia signed Scott from the Saints’ practice squad last week. The Eagles’ active running backs for this game include: Josh Adams, Darren Sproles, Wendell Smallwood, and Scott.
Rookie offensive lineman Matt Pryor is one game away from being a healthy scratch for the entire 2018 season.
