Eagles vs. Rams inactives: Avonte Maddox is back

Who’s in and who’s out.

NFL: Philadelphia Eagles at Cleveland Browns Scott R. Galvin-USA TODAY Sports

The Philadelphia Eagles officially announced the inactives list for their Week 15 game against the Los Angeles Rams.

The following seven players have been ruled OUT: Carson Wentz, Sidney Jones, Jordan Hicks, Isaac Seumalo, Timmy Jernigan, Boston Scott, and Matt Pryor.

Wentz being out obviously means reigning Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles will start at quarterback. Nate Sudfeld is active as the backup.

Rookie defensive back Avonte Maddox is active for the first time since getting hurt against the Saints in Week 11. It’ll be interesting to see where he lines up in the secondary.

Defensive end Daeshon Hall is set to make his Eagles debut. Philadelphia signed him to their 53-man roster on Tuesday.

The Eagles also signed running back Boston Scott but he’s a healthy scratch as he continues to learn the playbook. Josh Adams, Darren Sproles, and Wendell Smallwood are the active running backs in this game for the Eagles. Would rather see what Scott can do than watch Smallwood continue to give this team nothing special.

Linebacker B.J. Bello is active for his first game with the Eagles after being promoted from the practice squad earlier this week.

Rookie offensive lineman Matt Pryor is two games away from being a healthy scratch for the entire 2018 season.

Chance Warmack is active for the seventh time this year. He’s earned $2.03 million to play two offensive snaps this season.

Philadelphia Eagles Inactive List

QB Carson Wentz - Injury.

CB Sidney Jones - Injury

LB Jordan Hicks - Injury.

OG Isaac Seumalo - Injury.

DT Tim Jernigan - Injury.

OL Matt Pryor - Reserve offensive lineman.

RB Boston Scott - Fourth running back.

Los Angeles Rams Inactive List

The Rams are completely healthy so their inactives are just healthy scratches.
